Zachary Ryan McBee

Zachary Ryan McBee, 29, affectionately known as “Zach” passed away suddenly on August 27, 2021 at home in Jesup, Georgia.

A former resident of New Tazewell, Tennessee and longtime resident of Newport News, Virginia, Zach was born on December 28, 1991 in Norfolk, Virginia.  He spent his early years in Newport News and attended Heritage High School.  Zach was a cabinet maker by trade and had been employed with Goose Creek Cabinets in Jesup for several years.  In his spare time, Zach enjoyed fishing, playing video games and watching movies but more than anything, he enjoyed the company of his family and friends. 

His mother, Beverly Cruz and his grandparents, Myrtle and Don Moore and Mary and Earl Spady, all preceded him in death.

Survivors include his children, Franklin James McBee and Luna Rose McBee both of Jesup; father and stepmother, James Allen and Betty Anne McBee of New Tazewell, Tennessee; brothers, Patrick Deardeuff of Norfolk, Virginia, Luther McBee and wife, Tracy of Yorktown, Virginia and Scott Parker and wife, Sue of Newport News, Virginia; sisters, Morgan Caldwell of Myrtle Point, Oregon and Anne Cherie Parker of Newport News, Virginia and fiancé, Gloria Chandler of Jesup.  A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members also survive.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
