Wilburn Nall Obituary

Wilburn “Buck” Nall, 83, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022 at home under the care of Hospice of South Georgia, Inc.

A resident of Jesup for the past twelve years, Buck was born on September 26, 1939 in Bacon County, Georgia to the late, L.G. and Ethel Medders Nall.  He was a graduate of Bacon County High School, Class of 1958.  During his lifetime Buck worked several different jobs including farming and equipment operating.  He even owned a Real Estate Company in Cocoa, Florida for several years before returning “back home” to Bacon County where he took a job working for the county until retirement.  In his spare time, Buck enjoyed fishing.  He spent countless hours on the river throughout his life and when he wasn’t fishing he was wood working.  Buck had mastered the art of working with wood and was an expert with a lathe.  He was a lifelong member of Big Creek Baptist Church in Bacon County.  In addition to his parents, his brothers Wayman, Mason, John, Carey and Doc and his stepson, Thomas Bradford, III, all preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine Bradford Nall of Jesup and  two stepsons, Steven Johnson of Alma and Lee Bradford of Jesup.  A niece, Tanya Nall and two nephews, Wayne and Eric Nall and several grandchildren also survive.
