Tina Mobley Burchell

Tina Mobley Burchell, 60, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Jesup after a short illness.

A resident of Jesup for most of her life, Tina was born on June 18, 1963 to the late, Howard and Janette Spell Mobley.  She worked as a waitress for several different local restaurants including the Huddle House.  In her spare time she enjoyed shopping and Tina was always good to everyone she met.  She was strong and courageous yet friendly.  Tina gave unselfishly to any person in need and in return was given the gift of sobriety after years of hard work through her efforts and with the help of her extended family at Lost and Found Recovery.  In addition to her parents, her brother, Terry Mobley, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her two children, Christina Harrison and husband, Brian of Jesup and Michael Jarvis of Arkansas; two grandsons, Adam and Avery Harrison; brother, Mitchell Mobley and wife, Tammie; and fiancé, Tony Wright all of Jesup.  Nieces and nephew, Alison, Terena, Kelly and Casey also survive as well as a host of extended family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at Howard & Jones Funeral Home with Patty Collins officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately following the services at the funeral home.
