Teofila Jimenez Mendoza

Teofila Jimenez Mendoza, 46, affectionately known by her family and friends as “Teo,” passed away suddenly on Monday, October 27, 2025 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

A resident of Jesup for the past twenty-one years and former resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, Teo was born on December 28, 1978 in Mexico.  She was a very hard worker, cleaning houses for many years before opening her own business along with her husband, a food truck, Taco Del Ranchito, which the two have operated for the past thirteen years.  Teo attended the Alpha and Omega Pentecostal Church for over ten years.  In her spare time, Teo loved shopping and she was always a lover of animals.  Her caring nature made her the most loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. 

Survivors include her husband of thirty-one years, Noe Cosco of Jesup; two daughters, Martha Cosco Jimenez and husband, Abraham Ochoa of Jesup and Rosa Cosco Jimenez and husband, Jenner Valdez of Brunswick; one son, Angel Cosco Jimenez of Jesup; two grandchildren, Jarrett Valdez Cosco and Raelynn Valdez Cosco both of Brunswick, mother, Balbina Mendoza; father, Fernando Jimenez and siblings, Abraham Licona of North Carolina and Herman Licona, Senovia Jimenez, Felisita Jimenez, Trinidat Jimenez and Caritina Licona all of Mexico.  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Howard & Jones Funeral Home in Jesup.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 until the hour of the services at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Sunset Oaks Memorials.

Active pallbearers will be Noe Cosco, Henry Riano, Jenner Valdez, Abraham Ochoa, Abraham Licona and Gabriel Jimenez.

Teofila Jimenez Mendoza, 46, con Cariño conocida como “Teo” por su familia y amigos, de repente falleció el Lunes, 27 de Octubre del 2025 en un accidente automovilístico.

Una residente de Jesup desde hace veintiun años después de mudarse aquí de Indianápolis, Indiana, Teo nació el 28 de Diciembre del 1978 en México. Una mujer trabajadora, cual limpió casas por muchos años antes de abrir su propio negocio con su esposo, una traila de tacos, Tacos Del Ranchito, cual ellos an trabajado por casi 13 años. Te asistía a la iglesia Alfa y Omega Inglesa Pentecostés por casi 10 años. En sus tiempos libre a ella le gustaba ir de compras y siempre amo los animales. Su carisma la hico una hija, esposa, madre y abuela muy querida. 

Sobrevivientes incluyen a su esposo de 31 años, Noé Cosco quien vive en Jesup; sus dos hijas, Martha Cosco Jiménez y esposo Abraham Ochoa de Jesup, y también Rosa Cosco Jiménez y esposo Jenner Valdez de Brunswick; y un hijo Ángel Cosco Jiménez de Jesup; y dos nietos Jarrett Valdez y Raelynn Valdez de Brusnwick. Madre, Balbina Mendoza; Padre, Fernando Jiménez y hermanos Abraham Licona de Norte Carolina; y Herman Licona, Senovia Jimenez, Felisita Jimenez, Trinidat Jimenez, y Caritina Licona todos en México. Igual como sobrinos y sobrinas y familia extendida.

Servicio Funeral será a las 3:00 p.m. Miércoles, 29 de Octubre 2025 en Howard & Jones Funeral Home en Jesup. La familia recibirá familiares y amigos desde la 1 p.m. asta la hora del servicio en la funeraria. 

El entierro serviría en Sunset Oaks Memorial
