Sylvia McDonald Hope, 79, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Select Specialty Hospital in Savannah, Georgia.
A resident of Jesup, Georgia for most of her life, Sylvia was born on March 11, 1943 in Macon, Georgia to the late Sam S. and Lucille Graves Hewatt McDonald. In addition to her parents, her grandmother, Blanche De Lay Hewatt, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughter, Traci Jones of Savannah; son, Anthoni W. Jones of Key West, Florida; two grandchildren, Rayna and Wesley Owens, both of Savannah; brother, Steve D. McDonald of Mandarin, Florida and two special friends, Louise Paulson of Roswell, Georgia and Dr. Sylvia Petterson of Boca Raton, Florida.
Services will be private.
