Rosemarie Marsh Burrell

Rosemarie Marsh Burrell, 63, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Harborview Health and Rehabilitation in Jesup, Georgia after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

A native of Kingston, Jamaica, Rosemarie was born on June 20, 1957.  She migrated to the United States about forty years ago.  Rosemarie first lived in New York, New York, then relocated to Florida in the late 90’s.  She lived in the following cities Ft. Lauderdale, Hollywood, Florida and then Plantation, Florida, eventually settling in Waycross, Georgia before her final move to Jesup, Georgia.

Rosemarie worked as a school bus driver in NY, Home Health Aid in Florida, then at Quest Diagnostics Inc. for about fifteen years where she worked as a client service  representative.  Rosemarie was a go getter person who love fashion and traveling.

She loved everyone she came into contact with. Her love of life was apparent and contagious as was her love of God.  She worshiped with many church bodies over the years in all the different cities she lived including Koinonia Worship Center and Village, First Baptist Church of Waycross and Jesup Church of God.

Rosemarie, is survived by  her husband, Troy Burrell, stepchildren, mother, Jurline, five brothers, one sister, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  

All will mourn the passing of one of the most loving souls to ever grace our lives.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Howard & Jones Funeral Home in Jesup.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
