Randall Hewitt, Jr.

Randall Hewitt, Jr., 46, affectionately known by his friends and family as “Randy” passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021.

A native and lifelong resident of Jesup, Randy was born on December 19, 1974.  He worked in construction and was an expert welder and painter.  Randy worked at American Welding and Tank for many years and was always working on vehicles in his spare time.  He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his beloved family.   His father, Randall Hewitt, Sr., preceded him in death.

Survivors include his three children, Randall Dillon Hewitt, Chelsey Cierra Hewitt and Madelyn Brooke Hewitt all of Jesup; mother, Lois Hewitt and husband, James Autry of Jesup; sister, Denise Anderson of Jesup; former spouses and the mothers of his children, Amanda Hewitt of Jesup and Diedre Hodges of Brunswick and fiancé, Mirka Ratajova of Richmond Hill.  Numerous extended family members also survive.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Howard & Jones Funeral Home in Jesup.
