Philip M. Trumble, Jr., 55, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025 in Jesup, Georgia from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
A resident of Jesup, Georgia for the past several months and former resident of Boca Raton, Florida, Philip or “Phil,” as he was affectionately known, was born on October 19, 1969 in Lansing, Michigan. He spent his early years in Lansing where he graduated from Everett High School. Phil proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps for four years and he always enjoyed drawing and watching his favorite team, the Detroit Lions, in his spare time. Phil enjoyed his life and was blessed with an infectious smile and a wonderful sense of humor. He loved rock and roll music and was a huge fan of Hootie and the Blowfish in his younger years. His father, Philip M. Trumble, Sr. preceded him in death.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Sheila and Darwin Day of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; siblings, Brandon Kuntz and significant other, Nikki Drake, Ashley Varney, Matthew Trumble and wife, Tracey and Andraya Wells and husband, Andrew; step siblings, Darwin Day, II and Tracey Shauver. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members also survive.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
