Pauline (O'Berry) Lesseur

Pauline O’Berry Lesseur, 74, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at home under the care of GHC Hospice.

A resident of Jesup for more than thirty-six years, Pauline was born September 28, 1947 in McIntosh County to the late Jimmy and Bertha O’Berry.  A loving and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother, Pauline devoted herself to the ones she loved.  In her spare time, she enjoyed collecting gallery dolls and working in her flower garden. 

In addition to her parents, her husband, Theron Lesseur and sisters, Lou Alice Martin, Rudell Howard, Leona Rozier, Edith Poppell, Lorie Johnson, Margaret Altman, Louise Martin and Verna Mae O’Berry and brothers, Eugene, Paul and Ernie O’Berry, all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Mark Lesseur of Jesup, Tracy Rowe and husband, Paul of Townsend, Shannon Ryals and husband, Terry of Townsend, Michelle Delaespriella and fiancé, Lawrence O’Neal of Jesup and Tammy Chancey of Jesup; siblings, Eunice Eason of Patterson, Janice Ryals and husband, Kenny of Townsend, Edward Altman of Cox and Cathy Croft of Brunswick and grandchildren, Mark, Jr., Desirae, Billy, Ashley, Jessie, Cole, Jack, Tabitha, Dustin, Stephen, Krisi, Salina, Josh and Isaiah.  A host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members also survive.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Howard & Jones Funeral Home in Jesup with Reverend Danny Stilwell officiating.   The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
