Obituary
Marilyn J. Pratt, 82, passed away Friday, June 30, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah, Georgia after a brief illness.
A resident of Jesup, Georgia for the past several years and former lifelong resident of Middleborough, Massachusetts, Marilyn was born on June 17, 1941 to the late, Roger and Gladys Phillips Chase. She worked for many years at Alden Shoes in Bridgewater, Massachusetts and was an active member of South Middleborough United Methodist Church where she served in many roles including Sunday School Teacher. In her younger years she enjoyed caring for animals and she always loved spending time with her beloved family. In addition to her parents, her husband, Norman Pratt; her infant sister, Shirley Chase and her brother, Roger Chase, Jr., all preceded her in death.
Survivors include her sisters-in-law, Flora Dillon of Wilton, Maine, Karen Pratt of Middleborough, Massachusetts and Doris Sicenzo of Center Conway, New Hampshire; brother-in-law, William Pratt of Wilton, Maine and nieces, Robecca Wills of Wilton, Maine, Michelle Morse of Abington, Massachusetts, Heather Pratt of Providence, Rhode Island and Rachel Hayes of Middleborough, Massachusetts.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
