Linda Womack Hall,79, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Hospice of South Georgia after a lengthy illness.
A resident of Jesup for most of her life, Linda was born on January 22, 1946 in Jenkins County to the late, Garth Womack and Irene Free. She worked at Sullivan's Department Store for over thirty years as the Estee Lauder Consultant, earning herself the title of the "make up and perfume lady." Linda was a member of Anderson Drive Baptist Church and also the Order of the Eastern Star. In her spare time, Linda enjoyed working in her yard, tending to her plants and spending time with her beloved family. In addition to her parents, her husband, Bennett Hall; brothers, Daniel and Milton Womack and sister, Nancy McCarter, all preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, Jeff Hall and wife, Ginger of Jesup; two daughters, Denise Blackmon and Buffie Hall Mutchler and husband, Mark all of Jesup; sister, Miriam Hardy and husband, Vernon of Swainsboro and grandchildren, Justin Hall and fiancé, Olivia Highsmith, Josh Hall, Kaleb Hall all of Jesup Chrissy Fancher and husband Eric of Houston, Texas, Haley Henderson and husband, Joey of Charlotte, North Carolina and Hanna Anderson and husband, Logan of Jesup. Her great grandchildren, Jaelyn, Easton and Jedd Hall and Ryder Highsmith also survive along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.
Funeral services will be at 3:00, Monday, February 3, 2025 at Howard & Jones Funeral Home in Jesup with Rev. Chuck Jonas officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Joey Henderson, Vernon Hardy, Wade Womack, Jerry Hall, Bryant Lewis, Justin Hall, Josh Hall and Gene Hall.
