Linda Ann (Maglioli) Cataldo

Linda Ann Maglioli Cataldo, 67, affectionately known by many as, “Linny,” passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at home. 

A resident of Jesup for the past six years and former resident of Cranston, Rhode Island, Linda was born on September 27, 1956 in Providence, Rhode Island.  She was a strong and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother who devoted herself to her family.  Linda was catholic and attended mass at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jesup.  She enjoyed crafting, scrapbooking and reading in her spare time and also enjoyed taking trips to Disney and collecting Disney commemorative pins.  Her mother, Fannie Bowen Smith; her father, Domenic Maglioli and her husband, William Cataldo, all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her four children, Jennifer James and husband, Barry, Amy Taylor and husband, Lawrence, Michelle Cataldo and John Cataldo and wife, Melanie all of Jesup, Georgia; siblings, Michael Maglioli and wife, Leanne  and Louise Johnson all of Athens, Georgia and grandchildren, Nathan, Stephanie, Sean, Chloe and John, Jr.  One grand puppy and a host of extended family members also survive.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at noon on Friday, July 12, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Reverend, Paul O’Connell, celebrant.
