Kenneth David Wilkerson

Kenneth David Wilkerson, Sr., 57, passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A native and lifelong resident of Wayne County, Kenneth, affectionately known by many as, “Sticker,” was born on April 15, 1967.  He worked as a truck driver and enjoyed fishing and working on four wheelers and ATVs in his spare time.  Kenneth always enjoyed living life to the fullest and was a good friend to many.  His father, Fred Miller, sister, Sheila “Chris” Bearden, brother, Genell Stallings, Jr. and cousin who was like a brother, Bruce Lamb, all preceded him in death.

Survivors include his fiancé, Kerry McDuffie of Jesup; children, Stephen Wilkerson and wife, Amber, Kenneth David Wilkerson, Jr. and wife, Ashely and Kyle Wilkerson and wife, Jordan all of Jesup, Megan Hart and husband, Adam of Pembroke and Amie Wilkerson and wife, Lynn, Ryan Wilkerson and wife, McKenzie, Chandler McDuffie and Audrey McDuffie all of Jesup; mother, Alice Miller of Jesup and siblings, Marty Teston and wife, Jeanette, Eddie Griffis, Beverly Stallings Brown, Marcia Stein and husband, Marlon and Sharon Lane all of Jesup.   A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members also survive.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 13, 2025 at Howard & Jones Funeral Home in Jesup.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Howard & Jones Funeral Home in Jesup with Rev. Don McCrary officiating.

Private interment services will be held at a later date in Red Hill Cemetery.
