Judy Looney Chapman

Judy Looney Chapman, 58, passed away suddenly on Friday, February 7, 2025 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

A native and lifelong resident of Jesup, Judy was born on January 12, 1967 to the late Edison Aldie Looney and Elvy Lucille Spell Looney.  She was a homemaker who loved taking care of others and spending time with the ones she loved. Judy was always smiling and was known for her distinctive laugh.  She was a joy to be around and she loved to joke around and have fun. 

Survivors include her two sons, Rodney David Chapman of Jesup  and Sean Gregory Chapman and wife, Haylee of Jesup; three sisters, Jackie Culpepper and husband, Michael of Jesup, June Ward of Jesup and Joan Anderson of Brunswick and two grandsons, Sawyer and Sammy Chapman.  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members also survive.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Howard & Jones Funeral Home in Jesup with Patty Collins officiating.  The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home.
