Joyce Ann May Cook, 64, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at home.
A resident of Jesup for most of her life, Joyce was born on April 15, 1956 in Plant City, Florida to the late Alexander and Annie Fultz May. She worked in the customer service industry in several different places over the years and loved cooking and crocheting in her spare time. In addition to her parents, her son, Jarrad Alexander Adams; eight brothers, Willard, Johnny, J.R., Buddy, Alvin, Arvil, David and Harold May and three sisters, Willene Salter, Letha Scott and Earlene Knight all preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, Rick Howard of Jesup; two sisters, Carolyn Craven and husband, Gene of Brunswick and Lois Hewitt and husband, James Autry of Jesup; two brothers, Bobby May of Daisy, GA and Genell May and wife, Lisa of Christiansburg, VA; grandchildren, Kaitland Nicole Howard of Michigan, Macelyn Howard of Jesup and Rush Howard of Jesup and great grandchild, Ari Howard. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members also survive.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Howard & Jones Funeral Home in Jesup.
