Jeanette Frances Heath, 79, of Jesup, GA, passed away Saturday, July 23 in the presence of family and loved ones under the care of GHC Hospice.
Jeanette was born June 6, 1943 to the late Joseph James and Irene Deason Perritt. In her life, Jeanette was a barrel racer, synchronized swimmer, accountant and homemaker whose pursuit of adventure included a trip to the jungles of Venezuela in 1972, as well as ten years spent living in Alaska. In addition to her parents, her husband, Stanley Robert Heath; son, Kenneth Martin Allen and sisters, Betty Priddy and Carolyn Jordan, all preceded her in death.
She is survived by son, Craig Allen and wife, Terry, of Palmer, AK ; son, Sidney Allen and wife, Sarah, of Jesup, GA; step daughters, Heather Certo and Holly Heath both of Arizona; grandchildren, April Stanley, Renee Payne, Amanda Lubasky, Traci Swanson, Zachary Allen, Sydney Allen and Brittany and Heath Certo; nine great-grandchildren and sister, Marjorie Jackson and husband, Bob of Vero Beach, FL. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members also survive.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Howard and Jones Funeral Home in Jesup, GA with Reverend Dr. Michael VonMoss officiating. The family will receive friends after the services at the funeral home.
Honorary pallbearers will be current and former staff members of Cotton Grove Estate who have all gone out of their way to ensure that the best care was given to Jeanette at all times, Vanessa Smith, Amy Lenier, Katie Jones, Stacie Washburn, Grace Anderson, Kristina Beverly, Alex West and Jasmin McNeal.
