Jason Michael Walker

Jason Michael Walker, 35, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2019 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Jacksonville after a lengthy illness.

A resident of Jesup for the past ten years and a former resident of Augusta, Jason was born on April 6, 1984 in Beaufort, South Carolina.  He was a die hard Pittsburg Steeler fan and a plumber and pipefitter by trade who enjoyed fishing with his dad and listening to music in his spare time.

Survivors include his two sons, Atticus and Jack of Augusta, GA; father, Jack W. Walker of Jesup; mother, Chris A. Walker of Jesup; grandmother, Mary Gore of Tabor City, NC; uncle, Robert and Paula Walker of Jesup and aunts, Jeanette Walker of Statesboro and Valrie Walker Todd of Tabor City, NC.  Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members also survive.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at Howard & Jones Funeral Home in Jesup.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
