Jason Robertson Obituary

Jesup-Jason E. Robertson, 40, of Jesup passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012, as a result of an accident.

He was a native of Kansas City, MO and had lived in Jesup for 26 years. He was a Quality Engineer with Hobart in Richmond Hill for 20 years. He was an avid sportsman having played football and baseball for the Wayne County Yellow Jackets and was a Travel Baseball Coach for the Stray Dogs baseball team. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed deer and hog hunting and was a member of the Big O Hunting Club. He attended Altamaha Baptist Church.



Survivors are his wife, Laura Blanton Robertson; a daughter, Brooke Robertson; a son, Chase Robertson; parents, James and Nancy Robertson all of Jesup; a sister, Sheryl Renfroe (Doug) of Raymond, MS; three brothers, Frank Robertson (Terri) of Jesup, David Robertson of Marietta, Steven Robertson (Lindy) of Marietta; and several nieces and nephews.



Funeral services will be Friday, July 6, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. at Altamaha Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Lee officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Crest Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 5, 2012, from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the Howard & Jones Funeral Home.



Active pallbearers will be Shane Poppell, Jasper Blanton, Justin James, James Carter, Pat Ogden, Chris Potts, Alfred Holland, and John Shaver, Jr.



Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Big O Hunting Club.



Howard & Jones Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
