James L. Bell,70, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 27, 2025 at home under the care of GHC Hospice surrounded by his family.
A resident of Wayne County for most of his life, James was born on March 31, 1954 in Summerville, South Carolina to the late Darwin and Ora Lee Murray Bell. Bell, Sr. and Larry Clifton Bell, Sr. and his sisters, Barbara Grace Walker, Jeanette Bell Faircloth, and India Bell Thornton all preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of forty-two years, Terri Meyers Bell of Jesup; daughter, Jennifer Davis and husband, Jesse of Hinesville; grandchildren, Gregory James Davis and Mollie Rae Davis; siblings, Ermitt D. Bell and wife Terry of Pensacola, FL, Elaine Bell Mason of Jesup and Peggy Keener and husband, Allen of Jesup.
