Jae Lynn Brown

Jae Lynn Brown, 56, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A resident of Jesup since 2007 and former resident of Courtland, New York, Jae was born on December 29, 1968 in Courtland.  He worked as a tattoo artist for many years and enjoyed fishing and playing cards in his spare time.  Jae was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Towers Brown; his son, Nathan Brown; brother, Gerald “Willie” Nye and sister-in-law, Pamela Brown.

Survivors include his two daughters, Jessica Brown and companion, Jonathan Whitney of Jacksonville, North Carolina and Shannadoa Musick and husband, James of Binghamton, New York;  one brother, Allen Brown of Jesup, Georgia and three sisters, Theresa Hunt and husband, Ike, Daphne Miller and husband, Ike and Lynette Woolschlager all of Courtland, New York.  Numerous  grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members also survive.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the Jesup VFW Post.
