Ivory Brooke Flowers

Ivory Brooke Flowers, 22, passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 29, 2022 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

A native and lifelong resident of Wayne County, Ivory was born on May 21, 2000. Baptized at a young age into the Ritch Baptist Church, she later graduated from Wayne County High School in 2018 and  then attended Coastal College in Brunswick.  Ivory was a beautiful and loving person who greeted everyone she met with a smile.  She devoted herself to her family, especially, her daughter, whom she loved more than anything.  Her maternal grandparents, Clifton Sapp and Monna Reddish, and her paternal grandfather, Fulton Flowers, Sr. all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter, Bea Thomas; mother, Tammy Sapp; father, Fulton Flowers; brother Cane Flowers and paternal grandmother, Jan Flowers, all of Jesup; aunts and uncles, Tonya Herrin and husband, Kevin of Screven, Will Sapp of Jesup, Elizabeth Holden of Texas, Michelle Fields and husband, Ricardo of Jesup, April Teston of Pooler, Nathan Flowers and wife, Jordan of Blackshear and Kali Flowers of Waycross and significant other and father to her baby, Michael Thomas.   A host of cousins and extended family members also survive.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Howard & Jones Funeral Home in Jesup.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Howard & Jones Funeral Home in Jesup with Reverend Benji McReady and Dr. Cheryl McReady officiating.

Interment will be in Sunset Oaks Memorials.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Thomas Jr., Cameron Blanton, Lloyd Blanton, Ricardo Fields, Jordan Flowers, Jaylyn Burns and Jordan Herrin.

A reception and gathering of family and friends will follow the interment at the Gardi Recreation Center, 90 Gardi Rd., Jesup, GA 31546.
