Ingeborg Gertrude Tagge Delk, 82, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at home.
A resident of Jesup for nearly fifty years, Ingeborg was born on September 28, 1938 in Friedland, East Germany to the late, Gustav Adolf and Ida Rexin Tagge. She was a long time employee of K-Mart in Jesup where she was the twenty-third person hired. She eventually became a department manager before her retirement in 1998. She enjoyed cooking, baking beautiful cakes and shopping, especially on QVC, in her spare time. More than anything, she enjoyed spending time with the ones she loved the most, her beloved family.
In addition to her parents, her husband, James Gilbert Delk and two brothers, Wolfgang and Horst Tagge, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughter, Christine Boyd of Jesup; son, Hart Boyd and wife, Terri of Dallas, GA; sister, Hannelore Thomas of Newbern, NC; grandchildren, Dwayne Strickland and wife, Robin of Plaquemine, LA and Eric Strickland of Jesup, Justin Boyd of Jesup and Nathan and Natalie Boyd of Dallas, GA; great grandchildren, Tylar and Jackson Strickland of Barhamsville, VA and Camilla and Marshall Strickland of Plaquemine, LA and her Goddaughter, Marion Dalrymple. Numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members also survive.
Private graveside services will be held in Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery with Reverend Stanley Todd officiating.
