Heidi Pauline Johnson

Heidi Pauline Johnson, 54, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023 at home.

A resident of Jesup for nearly thirty years and former resident of St. Simons Island, Heidi was born on April 28, 1969 in Nashua, New Hampshire.  She moved around quite frequently in her younger years as her father served in the Air Force before settling in southeast Georgia many years ago.  Heidi loved fishing, cooking and spending time with her beloved family, especially her grandchildren.  Her father, Bruce Herbertson, Jr., preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of twenty-five years, Mark Johnson of Jesup; four children, Bethany Stone and husband, Larry of Anderson, South Carolina, Robert Landis, III, Joshua Landis and wife, Miranda and Mark Johnson, Jr. all of Jesup; mother, Diane Vaillancourt of Erwin, Tennessee; brother, Basim Karim and husband, Jay Buchannan of Roan Mountain, Tennessee; grandchildren, James Stone, Larry Stone, Jr.,  Kaley Landis and Jada Landis and one on the way.  Numerous extended family members also survive.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
