Edward Samuel “Eddie” Goff, 66, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at home under the care of Hospice of South Georgia after an extended illness.
A native and lifelong resident of Wayne County, Eddie was born on October 22, 1955 to the late Levis and Addie Mae Goff. He was a cabinet maker by trade, working more than thirty years with RWP Incorporated. In his spare time, Eddie enjoyed tinkering with projects around the house and working in his yard cutting grass and growing a garden. He was a long time member of New Bethel Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, his two brothers, Samuel and Richard Goff, also preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of twenty-one years, Kathy Goff; two daughters, Tammy Goff and husband, Mario Brown, Sissy Mansfield and husband David and one son, Chris Weaver and wife, Brandi all of Jesup; grandchildren, Junior and wife, Jaclyn, Justin, Emily, Mason, Alyssa, Daniel, Zoey, Jada Lynn, Martina, Bree, Zach, Logan and great grandchildren, Isabelle, Lena, Griffin, Tobi and Claire. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members also survive.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 23, 2022 at Howard & Jones Funeral Home in Jesup.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Howard & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Dennie Waters officiating.
Interment will be private.
