Edna Alberta Rozier Conyers

Edna Alberta Rozier Rowe Conyers, 90, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Coastal Manor Nursing Home

A lifelong resident of McIntosh County, Alberta was born on November 25, 1929 in Mount Pleasant to the late Harvey and Mary Ellen Key Rozier.  She was a member of the Young’s Island Community Church of God for many years but had been attending most recently at the Eulonia Church of God of Prophecy before her health began to fail.  She worked at Sea Pack in Brunswick in her younger years but the majority of her life was spent raising her children and taking care of her family.  She worked hard for her family and always put their needs ahead of her own.

 In addition to her parents, her two husbands, Charlie Rowe and Virgebe Conyers; daughter, Mollie Nasworthy; brother, Thomas Rozier and wife, Emily; sisters, Alma Ryals and husband, Leon and Grace Douglas and husband, Frank all preceded her in death. 

Survivors include her children, Margaret Boings and husband, Tommy of Burnsville, NC, Edna Bowens and husband, Ed of Perkins,  Charlie Rowe and wife, Mary Frances of Riceboro, Tommy Rowe and wife, Connie of Townsend, Fred Rowe and companion, Betty of Townsend, Hank Rowe of Townsend and Ray Rowe and wife, Sabrina of Townsend.  Thirty grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members also survive.

Graveside funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2020 in Young’s Island Church of God Cemetery with Reverend Danny Stilwell officiating.    The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services in Young’s Island Community Church of God. 

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
