Doris Hester Sapp, 67, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A resident of Jesup for the past twenty-two years, Doris was born on June 24, 1954 in Griffin, Georgia to the late Hugh and Louise Key Hester. In addition to her parents, her brother-in-law, Monty Sapp, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband of forty-six years, Michael A. Sapp of Jesup; daughter, Lianne Dubberly and husband, Jeremy of Jesup; sister, Deborah Watson of Griffin; brothers, Jeff Hester and wife, Kimberly of Morrow, John Hester and wife, Charlotte of Griffin and Kenny Hester of Griffin; grandchildren, Zoe Stephenson and husband, Bryce of Jacksonville and Arabella McKenzie and Abigail Pounds both of Jesup; great grandchildren, Jaimee, Delilah, Adalyne and Herbie; sister-in-law, Lisa Young and husband, George of St. Mary’s and nephews, Patrick and Michael Taylor.
