Daniel, “Dan,” Vangura, 64, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at his home in Jesup, Georgia.
Dan was born on August 3, 1961 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania to the late, Albert John Vangura and Diane Marie Paskert Vangura. He spent his early years in Clairton, Pennsylvania, where he worked in the family business, Vangura Tool, for many years after High School graduation. In November of 1996, Dan and his family relocated to Holtwood, Pennsylvania where he continued his career as a machinist until his retirement and relocation to Jesup, Georgia several years ago. Although Dan devoted most of his time to his trade, he also made time to take part in activities that he enjoyed including playing ping pong, fishing, cycling, archery, listening to jazz music and playing guitar for church ministry and prayer meetings.
Survivors include his wife of forty years, Molly Devon Rodeffer Vangura of Jesup, Georgia, three sons, Joel Vangura and wife, Emily of Jesup, Georgia, Jacob Vangura and wife, Meghan of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Ben Vangura of Jesup, Georgia.
