Cody Allan LaHaie

SFC, Cody Allan LaHaie, 36, passed away Sunday,  July 9, 2023 suddenly at his home in Fort Stewart, Georgia. 

Cody was born on February 21, 1987 in Honolulu, Hawaii.  He moved around quite frequently during his childhood and throughout his life as he was the third generation of his family to serve in the United States Armed Forces. He worked as a Transportation Coordinator in the Army and was known for his level of skill, being one of the best transporters in the Army.  Cody was a family man who loved fishing.  He cherished the time he spent with the ones he loved and he was always known by his coworkers to be a soldier of noble character.  His sense of humor was second to none and he was there to lend a helping hand to any friend or family member in need.  Cody was always up for a good nap or a good fishing trip.  His mother, Heidi Murphy LaHaie, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of sixteen years, Elizabeth LaHaie; five children, Allan, Xavier, Zachary, Kayla and Alissah and his father, Raymond.  Siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members also survive.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in Michigan.
