Carlos Enrique Lopez-Garcia

Carlos Enrique Lopez-Garcia, 41, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at his home under the care of Hospice in Vancouver, Washington.

MAJ Carlos Enrique Lopez-Garcia was born on September 14,1981 in Herleen, Netherlands to his mother and father. At the age of eighteen, Carlos went into the Federal Service as an employee. In 2008, he enlisted in the Army when he was twenty-seven years old and later Commissioned to be an Officer in the United States Army where he spent fifteen years serving the country until he passed. He was always willing to help his Soldiers, peers, and anyone who needed his assistance with no hesitation. He constantly surpassed all expectations in his line of work for how dedicated he was to his team and his Soldiers. He loved being spontaneous, finding activities that would make his adrenaline skyrocket, and making memories with his family. Every person that Carlos interacted or had some type of relationship with, he left an imprint on their hearts and an impact in their lives.

Survivors include his rock, his children, mother, father, sister, grandmother and numerous friends and family.

Private memorial services will be held.
