Bruce Lamb

Bruce Lamb, 63, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Jesup Health and Rehabilitation under the care of GHC Hospice.

Bruce was born on June 4, 1960 in Jesup, Georgia to the late, Deward and Geneva Stephens Lamb.  He spent his early years in Jesup where he worked as a truck driver,  eventually relocating to Lufkin, Texas until the past several years when he moved back home to Jesup.  He loved joking around and having fun with his friends and family.  In addition to his parents, his son, Kerry Bruce Lamb, Jr.; his brother, Carlton Deward Lamb and his grandparents, Peter Roy Stephens and Arizona Brinkley Stephens, all preceded him in death.

Survivors include one daughter, Heather Raye Lamb; one son, Cody Lamb; one brother, Peter Ray Lamb; one sister, Emily Moxley and two grandchildren, Anozira and Geneva.  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members also survive.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Howard & Jones Funeral Home in Jesup.

Private interment services will be held in the Zion Cemetery in Baxley, Georgia.
