Brandy Cooke

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Brandy Cooke, a devoted mother, loving wife, cherished daughter, and proud grandmother, on May 21, 2025.

Brandy lived a life full of warmth, compassion, and quiet strength. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—tending to her garden, surrounding herself with vibrant flowers, and cherishing the companionship of her beloved dogs.

Brandy’s greatest pride was her family. She was a nurturing mother who raised her children with unwavering love and guidance, a devoted wife who shared a deep and lasting bond with her husband, a cherished daughter whose presence was a source of constant comfort and pride, and a doting grandmother whose gentle spirit will live on in the hearts of her grandchildren.

Brandy is survived by her husband, Timothy Cooke; her son, Dillon (Kali) Cooke and her beloved grandsons, Corson and Parker Cooke. She is also survived by her parents, Larry Powell of Pennsylvania and Sharon Powell of West Virginia; her sister, Ashley (Danny) O’Neal; and her nephew, Dakota O’Neal, all of Darien.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Albert and Esther Fisher of West Virginia and Chester and Audrey Powell of Pennsylvania and her close lifelong family friend who was like a son, Miles Crews of Folkston.

Those who knew Brandy will remember her kind heart, her green thumb, and the way she made every space feel like home. She leaves behind a legacy of love, beauty, and quiet strength that will continue to blossom in the lives of those who loved her.

She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
