Bobby Antonio Sikes

Bobby Antonio Sikes, 32, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah.

A resident of Wayne County for most of his life, Bobby was born on November 16, 1990 in Hinesville.  He worked construction, framing houses for a living and enjoyed tinkering with small engines and carving wood in his spare time.  Always an avid outdoorsman, Bobby truly loved fishing and was known to sneak off most any time he could, wetting his fishing line, in search of a good catch.  He was a “man’s man” and will be fondly remembered for his outgoing personality and wonderful sense of humor.  His father, Bobby Harold Sikes, Jr., preceded him in death.

Survivors include his companion of twelve years, Brooke Nicole Tyre of Odum; son, Bobby Collin Sikes; two daughters, Marissa Danielle Peggy Sikes and Leila Jade Sikes; mother, Donna Sikes of Phenix City, Alabama; grandmother, Ruth Sikes of Jesup; two brothers, Gregory Sikes of Jesup and Donnie Sikes of Moultrie, Georgia and uncle, Kevin Sikes.  Numerous cousins, extended family members and friends also survive.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at noon on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 in the Recreation Building at Lake Grace with Pastor James Gaines officiating.
