Barbara Ward, age 63, passed away suddenly on the morning of June 1, 2026.

She was born on November 18, 1962, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Francis "Frank" Campanella and Gloria Machulas Campanella. Barbara's family moved to Bellmawr, New Jersey, when she was four; and she resided there for most of her life. She moved to Jesup, Georgia a little over a year ago. 

Barbara was predeceased by both of her parents, her brothers Frank Jr. & George Campanella, and her sister Lena Campanella. 

Barbara is survived by her beloved husband Joseph "Joe" Ward, her sister and brother-in-law JoAnn & David Underwood, her uncle Peter Machulas, cousins Johnny, Charlie and Allen, mother in-law Marge Ward, sister in-law Cathy Ward, sister-in-law Margie and husband Robert "Bob" Belmont, nephew Vincent and wife Jennifer Belmont, brother-in-law James and wife Karen Ward, brother-in-law John and wife Barbara Ward, a host of nieces and nephews, and many treasured friends who she viewed as family. 

Barbara was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1983. She was a longtime member of the Barrington, New Jersey congregation, where she developed many lifelong friendships. Those dear friends, along with her new friends in the Jesup, Georgia congregation, where she was most recently a treasured member, will miss her greatly.

 A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 13, 2026, 4:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2841 S US Hwy 301, Jesup, Georgia 31546.
