Azie Lee (Padgett) Allart

Azie Lee Allart, 75, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Magnolia Manor of Midway under the care of Hospice of South Georgia after an extended illness.

A longtime resident of Macclenny, Florida, Azie was born on July 17, 1946 in Brooker, Florida to the late Abril Zenith Padgett and Myrtice Lee Tillman Padgett.  Her kind and loving nature made her a mother to nearly everyone and she absolutely adored children.   Azie was a selfless person who always put the needs of others before her own, following the example of her savior, Jesus Christ, and she was a long time member of the Macclenny Church of God where she faithfully served the Lord for many years.

In addition to her parents, her husband, Jackobus Allart; two sisters, Marsha Fletcher and Patsy Padgett and two brothers, Edward Padgett and Gerald Padgett, all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her four children, Susan Greene of Starke, Florida and Keith Brooks, Kay Brooks and Larry Lee Brooks all of Macclenny, Florida and siblings, Norma Lee Finley of Starke, Florida, Miriam Padgett of Folkston, Georgia, Larry Padgett and wife, Louise of Racepond, Georgia and Linda Hall and husband, Darrell of Jesup, Georgia.  Eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members also survive.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Dedan Cemetery in Brooker, Florida with Reverends Elliott Aspinwall and Shannon Conner officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the cemetery.
