Anita Marie Aspinwall

Anita Marie Aspinwall, 59, passed away Friday, July 11, 2025 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Anita was born April 27, 1966 in Jesup, Georgia to the late, Bobby and Juanita Thornton Aspinwall. Throughout her life Anita had a passion for fishing, hunting, crabbing and being at the lake. She loved flowers, dolphins, butterflies and watching her criminal shows on TV. She will be remembered by having the best homemade mayo biscuits and chicken salad and giving fishy kisses to her spouse, Ricky.

She is preceded in death by her son, Leonard Spell, Jr.

Survivors include her spouse, Richard "Ricky" Hopkins; daughters, Amanda Spell (Josh) and Heather M. James (Steven); stepsons, Richard Anthony and Nicholas Ryan; thirteen grandchildren, Malisa(Fazion), Anna, Destiny, Liberty(Hunter),Steven, Joselen, Josie, Joshua, Nicholas (Jaidn), Brendon, Kristian, Jocelyn, Emilee; great grandchildren, Remeigh, Kaiden, Koa, Riley and 2 on the way; several nieces; nephews and her three puppies and kitty cats.

A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Lake Lindsay Grace pavilion.
