Alvin Davis Turner, III

Alvin Davis Turner, III, 62, affectionately known as “David” or “Bubba” passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Southeast Georgia Health Systems, Brunswick Campus.

A native and lifelong resident of Brunswick, David was born on July 25, 1960 to the late Alvin Davis Turner, Jr. and Mary Louise Nix Turner.  He owned and operated his own lawn care business for many years and when he wasn’t working, he enjoyed writing music and playing pool.  David was always helping people.  On more than one occasion, he was known to do without so that he could be of assistance to someone in need.  In addition to his parents, his sister, Linda Bragg, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Brett Buie of Mt. Pleasant; five siblings, Gary Turner and wife, Cheryl, Randy Turner and wife, Donna, Deborah Worth, Patricia Lynn and Karen Aldrich and husband, Donnie all of Brunswick; five grandchildren, Elijah, Jeremiah, Abi, Keith and Breanna.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
