Abby Debra Ann Hinton

Abby Debra Ann Hinton, 62, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at home.

A resident of Jesup for more than twenty years and a former resident of Savannah, Abby was born on December 6, 1959.  She was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family. Abby took a lot of pride in her children and grandchildren and loved animals of all kinds, especially turtles.  Her father, Ray Hinton and her brothers, Alvin and Alan Hinton, all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her three children, Debra Ann Dixon and husband, Chris of Odum, Shawn Hinton of Jesup and Jessica Hinton of Savannah; mother, Jeanette Dill of Jesup; three sisters, Penny Burrage and husband, James of Jesup, Margie Vangiller and husband, Robert of Ellabell and Jeanine Brabham and husband, Chris of Ellabell; grandchildren, Noah Hinton, Brice Hadlock and Gage O’Neal and one great grandchild on the way.  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members also survive.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Howard & Jones Funeral Home in Jesup with Reverend Mark Downs officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Sunset Oaks Memorials.

Pallbearers will be family members, Chris, Noah, Brice, Gage, C.J. and Lance.
