Robert G. Outland, 60, affectionately known by his friends and family as “Rob” or “Yankee” passed away Monday, February 25, 2019 at home.
Rob was a native of Warren, Michigan and had lived in Jesup for the past twenty-two years. He was a painter by trade and was passionate about his work. Quick witted and funny, Rob never met a stranger and his attention to detail made him a perfectionist in the things he did. Rob loved Rock n Roll music, partying and working in his yard in his later years. Rob’s favorite times were spent with his family, who he dearly loved.
His father, Ivan Outland his brother, Ronald Outland and his sister, Karen Outland all preceded him in death.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Mary and Richard Trepczynski of Troy, Michigan; son, Robert Reed Outland of Jesup; two daughters, Rachel and Maria Outland both of Troy, Michigan; step daughter, Jessica Gallaher of Jesup; step sons, Lawrence Hardwick of Jesup and Jesse Hardwick of Jonesboro, Arkansas; loving companion of eighteen years, Peggy Howard of Jesup; step son, Jeffrey Nail of Jesup; step daughters, Jamie Howard of Brunswick and Debra Woodcock and husband, Jackson of Jesup and friend and ex-wife, Saundra Outland and half- brother, Richie Trepczynski of Troy Michigan. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews cousins and extended family members also survive.
Graveside memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Rick Darby officiating.
