Kevin Edwin Burkhalter

Kevin Edwin Burkhalter, 40, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2019 in Rockledge, Florida. 

A resident of Jesup for most of his life until relocating to Melbourne, Florida recently, Kevin was born on October 25, 1978.  He owned and operated his own business, Burkhalter Construction and did sub-contracting work for Space Age Cooling and Air. Kevin enjoyed the beach, surfing, working out, playing guitar and was into health and physical fitness.  More than anything, he loved his family.  There was nothing he wouldn’t do for his loved ones and he encouraged everyone to love one another at all times.

His father, Terry Edwin Burkhalter, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his daughter, Logan Elizabeth Teston of Jesup; mother, Roxane Harrison Jackson and husband, James of Jesup; sister, Ashlee O’Quinn of Hinesville; two nephews, Greyson and Owen and a niece, Emma.  A host of aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members also survive.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2019 at Howard & Jones Funeral Home in Jesup.

Graveside funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery.
