Edwin Lee Morgan, Jr.

Edwin Lee Morgan, Jr.,58, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020.

A resident of Jesup for the past four years and former resident of Winchester, Kentucky, Edwin or “Eddie” as he was affectionately known was born on August 4, 1961 in Louisville, Kentucky.  He was a forklift operator by trade who loved hunting, playing golf, bowling and playing cards in his spare time. His favorite pastime, however, by far was fishing and he spent countless hours with his rod and reel in hand by the water’s edge trying to lure in a big one.

His father, Edwin Lee Morgan, Sr., preceded him in death.

Survivors include his son, Adam Morgan; mother, Joanne Nichols; half brothers and sisters, Brett Morgan, Cindy Henderson, Ronnie Cassidy, Johnny Cassidy and Kathryn Morgan; step sisters, Jennifer and Crystal Watkins; nieces and nephews, Michael Morgan, Joshua Morgan and wife, Kari, Caleb Morgan, Dashawn Henderson, Dante Dungen, Taylor and Levi Carter and Sydney and Macy Watkins.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2020  at the Jesup Church of God with Pastor Clayton Dowd officiating.
