Brady Allen Strickland
Brady Allen Strickland, 47, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2019 at Memorial Health University in Savannah after a short illness.
A native and lifelong resident of Wayne County, Brady was a carpenter by trade who owned and operated Strickland Construction for many years. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed hunting, fishing and building race cars in his spare time. Brady was passionate about carpentry work and loved refurbishing old things and building new furniture. His father, Franklin Dilburn Strickland and his brother, Bruce Wayne Strickland, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Candy Strickland of Jesup; children, Jesse Roberson and wife Caeley of Jesup, Jacqulyne Collins and husband, Joseph of Odum and Angel Strickland Chancey of Alabama; his mother, Cherrie Day Graham and husband, Jervis of Winder, GA; brothers, Franklin Strickland and wife, Paula and Britt Strickland and wife, Lisa all of Jesup; grandchildren, Harmony and Raylan Collins and Braxton Roberson and adopted brothers and sisters, Christy, Justin, Adrianne, Kenneth and Ashley Graham. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members also survive.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery with Rooster Manning officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the church.
Active pallbearers will be Jesse Roberson, Jeff McIntosh, Jimmy Strickland, Bryan Strickland, Britt Strickland and Jason Davis.
